Anne Bovett was born on 10 January 1950 in Exeter, and died on 22 September 2022 in London.

She was a remarkable, quirky, kind-hearted, knowledgeable woman, who was full of love - for her family and friends, for the children she taught, for books and history and music and art, for birds and plants and the natural world, for justice and equality, and for life itself.

She will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and former colleagues.
